MEMOIR currently covers the four main spaces and outer interface. Some deeper pages retain the original design. Save unfinished edits before switching themes; the app restarts to load the new look.

A quieter way in.

On supported, configured iPhones, unlock with Face ID or your app password. Core life records and manual archive backups need no account.

Settings brings language, theme, text size, security and backups into clear groups, with their current state close at hand.

A clearer way to keep a copy.

Verify your app password, choose an archive type, create a separate file password, then generate, check and save your file. A confirmed save is distinct from a generated archive.

Data Backup

Life data and external video references, without photo files or original videos. A lighter backup of your records.

Complete Life Archive

Life records, archived photos and external video references. Original video files are not included.

Analysis Copy

Content you choose to export for your own analysis, with control over sensitive categories. Not a full recovery backup; nothing is uploaded automatically.

What is LIULI LIFE CHRONICLE?

A private personal life-recording and reflection experience designed to connect memories, people, experiences, goals, and the paths that continue through life.

Is the app available yet?

These features are implemented in the iOS development build, and the latest Settings update has passed user testing on a physical iPhone. This is not a public store release. Android and web apps have not been announced as available; no public release date is confirmed.

Why is the full experience invitation-only?

We’re sharing an early preview with a small circle while LIULI takes shape. An invitation opens this website preview; it isn’t an app account or a promise of beta access.

How can I follow development?

When will crowdfunding begin?

We’re preparing for crowdfunding. Timing and campaign details have not been announced. Join the waitlist to hear what comes next.

Does joining the waitlist guarantee beta access?

Joining the waitlist expresses interest in product and early-access updates. It does not guarantee an invitation, a release date, or paid benefits.

Does the app need an account?

Core life records stay on your device. No account is required for core recording or manual backups; you choose whether to save an archive to an external service.

Will I be able to export my data?

The iOS development build supports Data Backup, Complete Life Archive and Analysis Copy. Export requires your app password and a separate file password. Document data is encrypted; photos and their embedded metadata are not. Original videos are not included.

Are archive photos encrypted?

Export passwords encrypt document data, not photos or their embedded metadata. Photos can still be read outside LIULI.

Can I recover a forgotten password?

An app password can be reset only while valid Face ID recovery credentials remain on that device. Recovery may become unavailable after biometric or security changes. Archive passwords cannot be reset or recovered through Face ID. Keep your file password safe.

Does LIULI back up or sync automatically?

Archives are saved by you. Saving to iCloud Drive does not confirm cloud sync has finished and is not automatic app sync.

What happens when I restore an archive?

The app checks and previews the archive before you confirm. Restoring replaces the current local life records; it does not merge archives. Data Backup cannot restore photo files, and external video references may need permission or relinking on another device.
